A Hosted Bar is a host-funded, per-guest service: you agree a menu and a service window, and your guests drink without paying at the counter. It's a way to treat everyone equally — not an unlimited-consumption promise or a tab billed by what's poured.
Bar Zone is not currently VAT-registered; quoted amounts are not subject to VAT. Travel, venue access, availability and licensing are confirmed in writing.
One per-guest rate, agreed up front
You choose a Standard or Premium menu and a 4-hour service window. We bring the bar trailer, 2–3 bartenders, glassware and ice, and run the bar for the agreed hours. Setup is included in the per-guest rate — there's no separate setup fee.

Nom Bango Hosted Bar is offered at R220/guest on the Standard menu. No Nom Bango Premium rate is published — ask us and we'll confirm the right rig and tier in the quote.

Guest estimate
An approximate headcount — Hosted Bar has a 50-guest minimum. Tell us if the count may change; we'll quote around it.
Menu preferences
Which drinks your guests will enjoy, any brands you'd like, and whether Standard or Premium suits the occasion.
Service times
When the bar opens and when service ends — the agreed 4-hour window shapes staffing and stock.
Venue access
The venue, vehicle access for a towed dual-axle trailer, and roughly 8m × 4m of level space — a planning allowance, not a certified dimension.
Questions about hosting
Is a Hosted Bar unlimited drinks?
No. A Hosted Bar is a per-guest service for an agreed menu and a 4-hour window — not unlimited consumption. Extra hours, premium brands beyond the agreed menu and a signature-cocktail menu are quoted separately. We don't promise unlimited stock, table service or automatic top-ups.
Is there a setup fee on top of the per-guest rate?
No separate setup fee — setup is included in the per-guest rate. Travel and additional site logistics, plus paid extras like extra hours or branded cups and menu boards, are confirmed in your written quote rather than added silently.
Can I host a Hosted Bar on the Nom Bango trailer?
Yes — Nom Bango Standard is offered at R220/guest. No Nom Bango Premium rate is published; ask us and we'll confirm the right rig and tier for your venue and guest count in the quote. Premium (premium spirits, sparkling wine and draught) is available on the Bar Zone flagship at R380/guest.
